I joined the Innovation team to design a new financial-planning proposition, leading end-to-end concept design across native mobile and mobile web. I explored how generative AI and voice interaction could help customers model life goals, simulate scenarios, and receive automated recommendations. Working closely with data science and engineering, I aligned the experience with the AI strategy, mapped ecosystem capabilities, and shaped the foundations for AI-assisted planning. I delivered user research, competitive insights, and high-fidelity concepts that informed senior decisions and strengthened the proposition’s strategic direction.

I worked within the UCD team during a period of rapid product growth across Aviva Zero and Simple Wealth, serving as a lead designer across several high-impact workstreams. I owned end-to-end design for mobile web and native app journeys—reimagining the Quote Summary experience (driving a £500k YoY uplift) and redesigning New Business, Renewals, and Mid-Term Adjustments to lift clarity, conversion, and post-purchase flexibility. I also contributed accessible components to the Design System and partnered tightly with engineering and product to ship WCAG-compliant experiences at pace.
Senior UX / UI Designer | 👨🏾💻
I was a senior designer in NatWest's Retail Banking team, working on a new way for customers to switch their mortgage deal inside the banking app. I designed journey variants made up of several parts: making the term longer, making it shorter (which needs an affordability check), and what happens when changing the term changes which deals you qualify for. The heart of it is the screen that compares the current term against the new one. I tested it with 54 UK mortgage holders across three rounds, refined the designs, and took understanding of the new-term column from 61% to 89%. I turned all of it into recommendations and took them to senior stakeholders. The project stopped in August 2026 when the Product Switch team was restructured.

I spent 11 months at British Airways as a Product Designer, serving as the sole designer for the Help product during a major Design System refresh. I redesigned the CR Portal landing experience and delivered key features within the claims journey.
